Service report for customer outlining work carried out Pre-service test to determine any possible underlying problems Frame checked for alignment and damage. Disc mounts faced if applicable. Drive train [including front and rear mechs] removed, cleaned and lubricated Headset removed, checked, cleaned and re-greased Bottom bracket removed, checked, cleaned and re-greased Wheel check – remove, clean, check and lubricate bearings and hubs. Check spoke tension, dishing and true where required. Tyres checked for correct pressure and signs of wear or damage Gear cables replaced where necessary and gears set up Brakes removed, checked and cleaned. Cables replaced where necessary and brakes set up. Hydraulics – hydraulic fluid replaced and re-bled Forks checked and inspected for signs of wear or damage to seals. Cleaned and lubricated. [service of forks or shocks extra] New bar tape or grips fitted All other components checked for wear, cleaned and lubricated. Post service test ride to ensure roadworthiness.

This is true both on the shop floor with any questions you may have, as well as in the Bike Fitting Studio or upstairs in our WattBike Studio (15 bike capacity, one of the largest in the UK).

Bike Fit Studio
Our 3D Pedalling Analyser is industry leading. Visualise real time left and right pedalling forces in three dimensions to deliver effective force ratio and braking loss data. This new and unique technology enables greater analysis and can vastly improve the pedalling performance of the rider.
The Bike Fit Studio can be found within the shop and utilises state of the art Shimano Dynamics Lab bike fitting technology and data, we are now offering three different fit options.

Anatomical Fit – ‘Fit One – Anatomical Fit’ covering bike set up, saddle height, saddle, bar width and stem length for either your current bike set up or a prospective bike. Pedal Efficiency – ‘Fit Two – Pedal Efficiency’ optimises the Shimano Dynamics Lab 3D Pedalling Analyser, visualising real time left and right pedalling forces in three dimensions to deliver effective force ratio and pedalling ‘braking loss’ data. This fit also reviews foot stability and balance on the bike through analysis of the foot / shoe / pedal interface. This new and unique fit offers the potential to substantially improve pedalling performance.

General Workshop Charges
Please call to discuss your workshop requirements if you have need of servicing or repair but do not want one of our menu service options. We’ll do our best to give you a guide cost over the phone based on what you tell us, but for an accurate quote, you need to come in-store WITH your bike.
If it is found that any parts are required the customer will be contacted before fitting.
We will clean bikes that we service.
