Returns & Exchanges



The bicycle dealer and BikeExchange representing BikeExchange grant the user a 14-day right of return from the delivery of the goods independently and in addition to the right of withdrawal. The information on the right of withdrawal can be found in our terms and conditions.

Returns

In the case that you wish to return the goods received in an order, you must return the product to the retailer from whom you originally purchased it from. Before sending any items please contact the appropriate dealer and agree with him how the return should proceed. The costs of the return are, unless otherwise stated, always to be borne by the buyer. When packing the goods, be sure to carefully close the package and remove old address labels and old barcodes. In addition, you must present in each case a proof of purchase with the returned order (eg the bill). Please enclose proof of purchase inside the packaging and not visible on the outside of any parcels. The goods must not show any signs of use and must arrive in their entirety and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation or the return order at the dealer.

Exchanges

If the delivered product does not conform to the description or is delivered in the wrong size, the dealer will try to replace it with the correct product. If the product can not be exchanged, the buyer will be given the opportunity to purchase a product with the same value or to have the full purchase refunded. However, if such a product has been proven to be used by the purchaser beyond the characteristics and functionality check, no exchange will be permitted.

Warranty

When purchasing via BikeExchange, the statutory warranty provisions and warranty rights apply. The warranty period vary's with different products and brands and begins with the delivery of the goods. In the event of a defect or defect in the product, please contact the bicycle dealer from whom you purchased the product. You will find the contact details in the order confirmation and on the invoice.

Note

It is the responsibility of each individual bike retailer offering their products via BikeExchange online ordering, to provide their exact returns and exchange policies in the policies section of their account. While these policies may vary from the guidelines above, the minimum requirements and deadlines as described above must be met at minimum. The exact shipping and delivery policies for each retailer can be found at the bottom of every advert.
